Coronavirus – Useful Information

The Parish Council is receiving information updates from Leeds City Council on a daily basis – please click on the links below to be redirected to the important and useful updates/information received recently on the matters listed:

  • Leeds Domestic Violence Service –  information on reaching out if you are concerned about anyone at this time is available on Facebook and Twitter
  • LCC information regarding its support for the creative sector on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • LCC is encouraging businesses in the Leeds City Region to get involved with the Digital Enterprise survey to ensure there is an appropriate programme of support available – please see LCC’s posts on Twitter and LinkedIn

Leeds City Council has advised they cannot currently empty all litter bins in the city. In order to enable staff to focus on more essential work, they are asking people to avoid using litter bins and to take litter home to put into black bins. Although LCC will continue to do their best to empty bins in parks and greenspaces that are used for exercising or dog walking, please do not use the bins if it can be avoided, and instead to take your litter home. Thank you.

Please remember the current guidelines and rules on when/why you can leave home, and social distancing when you do this. To see the Government’s tweet thread about what will happen if you break the current guidelines and rules, click here.
