Coronavirus – Useful Information

The Parish Council continues to receive regular information updates from Leeds City Council – please click on the links below to be redirected to the important and useful updates/information received recently on the matters listed:

  • The Police are there to fully support anyone in need of urgent help from domestic abuse, including how to indicate if you’re in danger – please see their Twitter post here.
  • The Police have been granted additional powers to enforce new Government rules designed to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus. To report anything which contravenes those rules the public are being encouraged use the WYP online Breach of Coronavirus Restrictions reporting form; please only call 999 if a crime is in progress or there is a threat to life, thank you.
  • Please note that West Yorkshire Prepared asks people to please avoid using sky lanterns when showing your appreciation for the NHS and other key workers – see their Twitter post here.
  • LCC asks that garden waste is composted or used otherwise in the garden rather than being burned, and reminds residents that burning of household waste may be illegal due to the noxious fumes it can release.
