Review of dog controls and smoking in childrens play areas
Please see below a notice from Leeds City Council concerning the above. If you have any comments not covered by the survey please send them to the Parish Clerk in the first instance.
“It is now 3 years since the Public Spaces Protection Orders in relation to dog controls (and smoking in children’s play areas) were last reviewed and amended. We have now reviewed the current restrictions and it is proposed to only make a very small number of minor additions, namely dog exclusion areas in a small number of new children’s play areas and a dogs on leads area directly around the lake and visitors centre at Middleton Park.
As part of the review, we have gone out to public consultation both in terms of the existing requirements and the very minor additions.
The consultation survey can be found using the link below:-
www.leeds.gov.uk/dogcontrolsconsultation
We want the consultation to reach as many residents as possible and would really appreciated your help in including the link in any relevant correspondence that you send out . I would also welcome any feedback from parish councils on the consultation , either by completing the survey or if you prefer by e-mailing me directly.
