LEEDS 2023 EVENT: 9th JULY 2023
As part of My LEEDS 2023, 33 Neighbourhood Hosts are working together with people in their communities to create activities in every ward of the city. The Neighbourhood Host for our ward, Harewood, including the surrounding villages and areas (e.g. Thorner, Shadwell, Collingham, Aberford, Scholes, East Rigton, Barwick, Linton, Scarcroft, East Keswick, Bardsey and Wothersome etc.) is an Aberford resident.
Our ward’s event is taking place on Sunday 9th July at Thorner Victory Hall from 12:30 – 4pm. The event will invite local residents to come along (with a picnic) to enjoy a range of family-friendly entertainment (music, theatre, storytelling, craft etc.) on the field if the sun shines with a variety of community groups able to showcase their activities inside the hall with stalls, mini-workshops, demonstrations and possibly performances.

There will be no charge to community groups, schools etc. to participate/have a stall.
