Parish Council Meetings 19.05.20 – CANCELLED/POSTPONED

Please note the monthly parish council meeting scheduled to take place on 19.05.20 will not take place due to the Coronavirus and current lockdown restrictions.

The Annual Meeting of the Council that was also scheduled for 19.05.20 has been postponed, and will now take place via conference call at 7pm on Tuesday 26th May 2020. More information, including on how join the call, and the meeting agenda, will be posted in due course.

Following the strict instructions issued by the Prime Minister on 23.03.20 regarding COVID-19, please note the Parish Council meeting that was due to take place this evening has been cancelled.

Parish Council Meeting – Tuesday 24th March 2020

A Parish Council meeting will take place on Tuesday 24th March at the Oriel Room, St Ricarius Church, Aberford, commencing 6.30pm, to discuss delegation of urgent decisions during such time when regular parish council meetings cannot take place.

Friendly Fridays Cafe – CLOSED

Please note the Friendly Fridays cafe at Aberford village hall will be closed until further notice due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The volunteers who run the cafe will follow advice issued by the government when making their decision regarding when to re-open.

Thank you for your support of Friendly Fridays, we look forward to seeing you at the cafe again in the future.

Lotherton Hall – CLOSED

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, please be advised that Lotherton Hall is now closed until the end of April 2020. Please see the information issued by Lotherton Hall yesterday below:

“We continue to follow national guidance around managing the impact of Coronavirus (Covid-19) and will be closing to the public from 5pm today (17 March) until the end of April.

Our team has been working hard to welcome you all in the last few weeks, but the safety and wellbeing of our visitors and staff is always our first priority. We will monitor developments and follow government guidance on when it may be appropriate for us to reopen.

In the meantime, we will continue to share stories around our collections and the work that we do through our social media accounts, website and e-newsletters. We thank you for your continued support, and look forward to welcoming you all back.”
