Complaints Procedure

At the Parish Council meeting held on the 18th June 2024 the Council formally adopted a procedure to deal with complaints against the Council that cannot, in the first instance, be resolved by more informal means.

This procedure is designed for those complaints that cannot be satisfied by less formal measures provided to the complainant by the Clerk, other proper officer or the Chairman. The Code is aimed at those situations where a complaint has been made about the administration of the Council or about its procedures.

It is not an appropriate procedure for a complaint against Parish Councillors; these should be dealt with by the Standards Committee at Leeds City Council.
