NOTICE OF PARISH COUNCIL ELECTION

Following the resignation of Councillor Hogg and the receipt of a written request from ten electors this vacancy will be filled by election. Any nomination papers must be received by the Returning Officer no later than 4pm on Friday 21st January 2022, full details are shown in the Notice of Election which can be found here.

If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 17th February 2022. The full election timetable can be found here.

Please note that the election is being administered by Leeds City Council, to whom any queries should be addressed.

 

Parish Council Meeting – Tuesday 18th January 2022

The next Parish Council meeting will take place on Tuesday 18th January 2022,  commencing at 7.30pm.

The meeting will be held in the Oriel room, St Ricarius Church.  Members of the public are welcome to attend but must advise the Clerk no later than the day before the meeting so that suitable Covid secure arrangements can be put in place. Please note that the Parish Council still consider it prudent that all attendees must wear a face covering unless seated and take a lateral flow Covid test on the day before the meeting, submitting a negative result to the Clerk.

Leeds Health and Social Care jobs fair

After the success of the Health and Social Care jobs fair in October Leeds City Council are working with We Care Academy to deliver another. The event will take place on Tuesday 30th November 10.00 – 3.00 at Leeds Kirkgate Market in the event space. There will be over 200 jobs available on the day from a wide range of employers within the sector.
